You’ve reached my shabby little blog. I plan to post some fiction, book reviews, movie reviews, music reviews, maybe some original thoughts? I don’t know. I don’t want to get too crazy.
A little about me: That is my beautiful family ^up there^. I grew up in just about as close as you can get to the prototypical middle-class American family, just a little bit north of Pittsburgh. When I can say that my biggest complaint as a kid was having to bale hay in the summer or eat a couple vegetables (I really didn’t do much of this part–I’m comically stubborn), you know I had it pretty good.
I went to Westminster College in PA for undergrad, where I studied business, and I went on to Duquesne University School of Law and got licensed to practice law in PA and I met a capuchin monkey with a feathered cap whose name is George and he sold me a pretty spotted horse which I ride daily and a timeshare in Somalia. Is anyone reading this?
I like to read, play video games, play soccer, ski, jump out of airplanes, you know, whatever. This makes my life sound very exciting, but 90% of the time when I’m not working, I’m at home with my family. Which is wonderful. I love my wife, I love my daughter. I love my infant son. What more can I ask for?
Hope you enjoy my posts!
P.S. I like supporting friends and family in cool creative endeavors, so please check out these great sites!
My younger brother does some TV and movie reviews on his own site. He said I could only link it if I said, “I have a cool brother who also writes.” So check that out.
My cousin Catharine is a pretty talented graphic design artist. You can see her work here.
My cousin Rachel makes bomb cross-stitches for the modern age and hosts a pretty entertaining movie podcast.
My friend Sarindre runs Geeks and Geeklets, a site devoted to gaming parents and a number of related topics (I also contribute here occasionally).
My friend C.T. is a fantastic photographer and graphic designer with some stunning shots of rural Maine.
Thanks!
